Well I'm having the following hostnames on my LAN:

  • betelgeuse (Beelink server with Proxmox)
  • altair (an another Beelink server with Proxmox)
  • eudora (outgoing SMTP server)
  • polaris (my laptop)
  • epsilon (my desktop)

What hardware do you use for Nextcloud?
I’m willing to finally get my own cloud using but I have zero clue about which hardware I should choose for home storage. It would be used for domestic stuff, such as photos, music, movies and files, for the whole family, not necessarily for work

I use Proxmox with Debian 12 and a few VMs running. My instance is running on a Debian 12 VM. I use this setup for almost two years.
